Smart Building & Facility Management
Workspaces (desks, offices and other types of workspace) are occupied on average 42 per cent of the time – and yet organisations are paying for this empty space. (Carolyn Whitehead)
By analysing the behaviour and location of assets and users we can unleash the great potential for optimising the performance of a building, i.e. its adaptation to work habits and safety management.
As buildings are estimated to be responsible for 40% of energy consumption and 36% of CO2 emissions in the European Union, anything that can reduce emissions is urgently needed. We aim to achieve this through the application of new predictive analysis models in an intelligent system which allows the building to adapt automatically to conditions in constant change (occupancy patterns, weather conditions etc).
Contribute iteratively to the design and validation of an intelligent system for the optimization of space management. Focusing on three key aspects: energy efficiency, asset monitoring, and improvements in perceived quality and user comfort, we are leading the integration of an MVP In a real environment.
