The Project
The integration of Augmented Reality in industrial environments offers great benefits. Areas such as Logistics or Industrial Maintenance – where traditional labour is still intensive – can obtain substantial improvements in error reduction, safety and in the optimization of all processes. However, with dozens of devices and frameworks appearing and disappearing quickly, our client – a leading international provider of Industrial IT solutions were struggling to offer stable deployment and support services in such a restricted and disperse environment. Added to this was the further complication of the realities of the industrial environment: gloves, safety helmets, noise…making the challenges much greater. Through our Innovation Delivery and Ecosystem services, we accepted challenge of working on the design and validation of an integration environment of AR-based solutions for industrial environments which allowed the agile inclusion of new services, components and devices to easily adapt the projects to the specific needs of each client in the Logistics and Industrial Maintenance sectors.

Project Goals
Contribute iteratively to the design and validation of a framework for agile deployment of intelligent Augmented Reality services in industrial environments and establish a business ecosystem at a European level to ensure stable support.
